Service Guide

When the service is requested, a wheelchair is offered to those who have difficulty moving, to minimize discomfort during check-in, departure procedures and boarding.
Please arrive at the check-in counter with plenty of time to spare, considering the time it takes to reach the boarding gate.
(However, request for services made on the day of departure without booking at least 48 hours in advance may lead to a delay in the assistance provided)

  • Sky Angkor Airlines provides a wheelchair service to passengers with mobility difficulties due to a physical and mental disability, illness, or old age.
  • The dedicated staff will assist passengers from check-in to boarding. After arrival at a destination airport, the passengers will again be assisted until they reach the arrival area inside the terminal.
  • Wheelchairs are provided for passengers who have requested the service in advance.
  • If you need prescription medications and medical device during the flight, you can bring it on board in carry-on baggage.
  • When the aircraft arrives, wheelchair service will be provided after all other passengers have deplaned.

Passenger-owned wheelchair

  • Sky Angkor Airlines transports passengers’ wheelchairs and walking aids free of charge.
  • If you need to travel with an electric wheelchair, please inform our Service Center of the type, size, and weight of the battery and inquire if the battery can be transported.
  • We normally allow for passengers to check in the wheelchair at the boarding gate and pick it up at a arrival, but some airports cannot provide it due to the conditions of the airport facilities.
  • Passengers can also request help to move when using their own wheelchair.

If you require a wheelchair on-board, please request this service in advance through the Sky Angkor Airlines Service Center or your travel agency.
(Wheelchairs in-flight may not be available for each different A/C route)

  • All passengers using wheelchairs must submit a declaration form upon reservation

Boarding may be denied in the event of any of the following.

  • Failure to book ahead at least 48 hours before departure
  • Service unavailability due to airport circumstances.
  • When 10 or more passengers in wheelchairs are boarding a flight
