Ban on Carrying on Board and Transporting Recalled Auxiliary Batteries (Power Banks)

Greetings from Sky Angkor Airlines.

In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) and to ensure flight safety, 
We strictly prohibit both carry-on and checked luggage transportation of auxiliary battery (power bank) models subject to official recall orders due to fire and internal short-circuit hazards.

As this is an essential measure for your safe journey, please verify whether your auxiliary battery is subject to recall prior to departure.

1. Prohibited Items: Recalled Auxiliary Batteries (Power Banks)

(※ Carrying on board as hand luggage or checking in as baggage is strictly prohibited)

Hazard Information: Potential risk of fire due to internal short circuit

2. How to Check Recall Status
Please check the recall status of your auxiliary battery prior to departure via the manufacturer's official website or the Product Safety Information Center (https://www.safetykorea.kr/recall/ajax/recallBoard).

Verification at Check-in & Boarding:
Possession of affected products will be inspected at airport check-in counters and boarding gates. Please note that passengers carrying recalled products may face restrictions on transportation and boarding.

This measure is implemented solely for flight safety and passenger protection. We kindly request your active cooperation with our ground staff and check-in personnel at the airport.
